Tony Joaquin has spent thirty years inside the machinery of money. Mortgage, fintech, risk, compliance, credit, underwriting. He reads a deal the way other people read a paragraph, and he's just as comfortable rebuilding the model as he is explaining it to the people in the room who decide.

He was born in Brooklyn to a Dominican family and raised on two languages and two ways of seeing the world. That double vision became the work. He holds two bachelor's degrees from Kean University, in organizational psychology and in economics and finance, a Master's in Practical Theology, and a Doctorate in World Religion. The certifications followed the curiosity. FP&A, financial modeling, risk, credit, and the discipline of valuation.

Somewhere along the way he was ordained. As Rev. Dr. Toni JD he has founded churches across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil. He doesn't see the pulpit and the balance sheet as different rooms. Both are about stewardship. Both ask the same question. What are you doing with what you've been given.

Today he advises founders through Leverage Consulting, structures film capital through IMN, and builds a house of ventures under his own name. He's a pianist and a singer, a father to his son Henry, and a man who keeps looking for the same thing in every part of his life. Peace, and a story worth telling.
