What is Academic Coaching?
Academic Coaching is a personalized, goal-driven process designed to foster student success. In 1:1 and group coaching sessions, a trained peer coach works closely with students to enhance their writing skills and overall academic abilities. Academic Coaching is meant to be proactive support for students, especially those taking their first college classes.

What is Supplemental Instruction (SI)?
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a peer-assisted study program designed to help students succeed in historically challenging courses. It involves regularly scheduled, out-of-class group study sessions facilitated by trained students (SI Leaders) who have successfully completed the course. These sessions focus on active learning, collaborative problem-solving, and developing effective study strategies, rather than simply reviewing course material.
