My name is Sarah Johnson. I am a teacher at Riverside Elementary School.
Q: What happened at the science fair yesterday?
I was helping at the science fair. The first-place trophy went missing! It was there at 10 AM, but gone by noon.
Q: Did you see anyone near the trophy table?
Yes! I saw a man in a blue jacket. He had brown hair and glasses. He looked nervous and kept looking at his watch.
Q: What time did you see him?
Around 11:30 AM. I remember because it was almost lunch time.
Q: Where did he go?
He walked to the parking lot. I saw him talking to a young boy. The boy looked sad.
Q: What did the boy look like?
He was about 10 years old with blonde hair. He wore a red t-shirt. He had a volcano project with him.
Q: Did they leave together?
Yes, they got in a silver car and left at 11:45 AM.
Q: Anything else about the man?
He had a black backpack. I heard the boy call him "Dad."
Q: Were any students upset about the competition?
Tommy Wilson was sad. His volcano project didn't win. His father looked very angry about it.
